How to Fix the "Infinite Loading" Bug in Weebly

Is your Weebly editor taking forever to load? Here's how to solve it.

A recent Weebly bug has caused some customers to experience an "infinite loading" screen after importing the theme or after installing a header type. The solution is quite simple.

The bug makes the website unable to retrieve the scripts necessary to load unless the website is published.

So, simply publish your website to a temporary subdomain (or your permanent domain) for development purposes. After publishing, reload the Weebly editor, everything should now work.

If you're not ready to publish your site to your active domain (for example, if you have an existing site on that domain with active users), you can simply change the domain temporarily to a free Weebly subdomain (e.g "my-website-in-development.weebly.com"). After you're done with development, you can simply change the domain to your active domain, and re-publish.

If you want to publish your site to your permanent domain, you can do that too.
