How to Update Pristine

Occasionally, we will release new software updates for Pristine, introducing new features or styles.

Updating your Weebly theme will effectively wipe any custom code modifications you've made. This includes any page layouts built and imported with Page Builder. If you did not use Page Builder and instead used the default built-in Pristine header types (such as the header type layout, or one of the four default built-in homepages), then your content will be transferred seamlessly when you update).

If you used Page Builder to built custom pages, you'll need to follow the video directions below.

How to Update the Pristine theme if you did not use Page Builder to build custom page layouts: 

1. You should have the updated theme .zip. If not, contact us and we'll send you the latest theme file. Keep this file in .zip format, do not open or extract it. You'll be uploading this into Weebly.
2. In your Weebly builder, go into "Theme" --> "Change Theme"
3. Click on "Import Theme"
4. Select the updated theme .zip from step 1, and upload it.
5. Give it a minute. Once it's done uploading, you'll be taken to the custom themes screen where you can find the theme you just uploaded (called Pristine2.zip or just Pristine2). Click on it.
6. Your website should now be set to the latest theme.
