What to Do After the Demo Creation Service

Our demo creation service seeks to solve Weebly's technical limitation of being unable to "import" elements (i.e text, images, Weebly components) when the user imports a Weebly theme. This service involves one of our designers logging into your Weebly website and manually re-creating the theme demo you saw, with all the text, images, and general content like icons added.

At this point, you probably just had this service applied to your website. Your site now looks like the demo you saw.

The next steps involve customizing the added elements to make it your own. Feel free to delete anything you don't need, while modifying whatever you do need.

Here are some pointers in helping you accomplish the aforementioned steps.

Deleting Entire Sections at Once

There are probably sections on some pages that you don't need. You can click on the entire section to delete all the content in there. Simply click on the section and press on the delete button in the pop-up.

Transferring Sections to Other Pages or Duplicating Them

If there's a content section that you like on one page, and you'd like to duplicate it or transfer it to another page, you can do the following:

1). Click on the section.

2). Look for this pop-up.

3). Click on "move"

4). You should get this pop-up. As you can see, you can copy this section to the same page, or you can transfer it to another page.

HINT: Unsure of which sections you need and which you don't? A smart thing that some of our customers have done is create a hidden page on your website, and then "move" all the sections to that hidden page. Then, as they go about building their site, they can easily go to that page, and "extract" a section they need by copying it to a different page.

About the HomePage header type: The HomePage is built upon static HTML sections, meaning you can't move some to other page unfortunately. This is a technical limitation in Weebly that we cannot override.

A Note About PureSlider, ScrolliPage, and TrueParallax

We created a few demo pages on your site with the PureSlider, ScrolliPage, and TrueParallax header types.

These page types are customizable.

If you want to increase the number of parallax sections in TrueParallax, for example, all you have to do is click on the selected page, then in the Weebly page settings choose the header type that includes the number of parallax sections you want.

Similarly, if you've got the PureSlider and want to alter the number of slides in the demo page, choose the header type for PureSlider that corresponds with the number of slides you want. (I.e if I want six slides, I'd choose PureSlider-6).

With ScrolliPage, all you have to do is add / remove the Weebly Sections. The dots on the right automatically link themselves with each section in order from top to bottom. Dot one links with whichever section is your first, dot two links with the second, and so forth.

The dots have labels which you can edit by hovering over them and editing the text. Only the linked dots will show up on your published site. All dots are enabled in the Weebly editor to reduce the amount of javascript running in-editor.
